The socio-environmental impact in forestry engineer curricula from Chilean universities: diagnosis and needs
Main Article Content
Abstract
Despite the lack of information available in relation to the importance of the socio-environmental impact in the study plans of forestry engineering in Chilean universities, it is possible to conclude that little importance has been given to the topic. When comparing this situation with the world's attitude towards the environment, it is compulsory to objectively review these study plans and to modify them in their contents as well as in their educational objectives.
