Abstract

In mapuche contemporary society several types of discourse stemming from verbal tradition and known by its artistic nature, coexist, composing their ethnoliterature. In their present literature, poethical discourse, which is intercultural and lacks of designation in mapudungun, has received wide influence from religious beliefs discourse, particularly from traditional mapuche worldvision. Related to this hypothesis, the ethnocultural mapuche poetry book, Se ha despertado el ave de mi corazón by Leonel Lienlaf is analized.
