Discourse semiotics in La tribuna (1882) by Emilia Pardo Bazán

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the importance of speech as mediation in La tribuna (1882), by Emilia Pardo Bazán, through the study of illocutionnary speech acts as narrative ingredients which participate de facto in the story and give access to the deep meanings of the novel.
