Abstract

This article analyzes a panoramic corpus of Chilean and Argentine narratives and cinema (2001-2015), from which it proposes the presence of a spectacular rhetoric, which stands as a form of representation that alters the design of the historical scene. The article proposes three pillars of analysis: 1) narratives that demystify historical discourses from the parody; 2) narratives that miniaturize history from various playful ways; 3) narratives that dilute forms of writing. The general purpose of this article is to analyze the operations that lift this historical scene in relation to the concept of spectacle.
