“Amistad o nada” Love and indifference in Ioshua. La biografía by Facu Soto

Abstract

Ioshua´s biography, gay poet of Buenos Aires suburbs, was written by Facu Soto and published by Mansalva under the direction of Francisco Garamona in 2020. Garamona decides to publish en Campo real´s collection the biography of who has made of self-management and edition a pride. Facu Soto decides to inquire in the political and painful life of his friend, another writer, to give some room to all the voices to tell Ioshua´s life. I´m interested in study the relationship between biographer and biographed ―plus the editing director― to think about biography as the space in which someone writes about another what he does not know about himself and to describe the editorial phenomenon that choose big figures of literary field to give them life and put them in sale.
