Abstract

This article analyzes different poems by Winétt de Rokha, Olga Acevedo and Gabriela Mistral, in attention to the ideologemes they use to represent the Mapuche people and the colonial violence executed by the Chilean State. From a sociocritic perspective, it is proposed that these authors create three types of indigenist discourse, according to the ideological systems with which they sympathize: revolutionary in de Rokha, mestizo-socialist in Acevedo and social-Christian in Mistral.
