Ciberagresión entre Iguales en el Contexto Educativo

Resumen

La ciber agresión es cualquier comportamiento realizado mediante el uso de la tecnología que tiene la intención de dañar a otra(s) persona(s). El objetivo de este estudio es explorar las conductas de ciber agresión en un grupo de adolescentes y analizar sus diferencias por edad y género. Participaron 1981 adolescentes (49.7% chicos; 50.3% chicas) de educación secundaria (Medad =12.9, DT = 1.73). Los chicos obtienen mayor puntuación que las chicas en comportamientos vinculados a la agresión. A mayor edad existe mayor número de comportamientos de ciber agresión. En ambos casos las diferencias entre grupos son estadísticamente significativas. Los adolescentes mayores tienen un uso más frecuente, mayor autonomía en uso de redes sociales y menor control parental, lo que podría aumentar la prevalencia en ciber agresión. Los chicos suelen socializarse con comportamientos directos de agresión, rasgos de fuerza y valentía que pueden influir sobre su rol como perpetradores de ciber agresión.
