Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice’s void-for-vagueness doctrine. The study shows the stages of evolution of this doctrine and identifies its consolidated criteria and its ambivalence. It is concluded that the current state of the doctrine does not allow foreseeing with certainty the highest court’s decisions when resolving void-for-vagueness claims.
