National Action Plans on women, peace and security. Comparative experiences and perspectives for the chilean case

Abstract
From Resolution 1325/2000 of the United Nations Security Council it is possible to identify an official regulatory framework vocation by the organization in relation to the promotion of equality of women in the field of peace, security and defense. In 2015 this official framework has been assessed and strengthened by UN coinciding with a time of adoption or reformulation of national action plans or other strategies by several states. This article has the main purpose to present and critically characterize some national action plans on women, peace and security, the prospect of projections from which to generate proposals under turn of the Second Plan of Chile’s National Action in the field adopted for the period 2015-2018.
