Trap and neoliberalism. Grammars of subjection and resistance

Abstract
This article studies the links between neoliberalism and the rap sub-genre, the trap. It starts from the hypothesis that in this genre, which makes use of the signifiers of the marginal areas of today's capitalist cities, and which at the same time has been translated and merged with all types of urban music at the planetary level, we can read the anthropological vision promoted by neoliberalism. We understand that this anthropological vision has become hegemonic and that, therefore, we live under the cultural hegemony of neoliberalism. A hegemony of which the trap in its present form is nothing more than the exaggerated expression of its forms of subjectivation. For this reason, we will delve into the neoliberal grammar of the trap, from the perspective of its consumers, in order to identify possible forms of resistance to the forms of neoliberal subjectivation.
