Effect of the Program BETA - PUCV on the prosocial conduct and the social responsibility of his participants: An analysis with discontinuity regression modeling

Abstract

This article presents the results obtained in the investigation developed with students of high capacities who have participated for three years in the program of extracurricular formation named BETA-PUCV. It intends to know the impact of this intervention on their prosocial conduct. In order to do so, students were subjected to two tests which results were analyzed through the application of the regression discontinuity model, not achieving to establish the presence of prosocial behavior (CPS) and of social responsibility (RS) different from those of students of similar talent who do not take part of this program.
