Discovering gender in the pedagogic speech (formal study plan) of the third cycle education, Universidad Austral de Chile 2003-2004

Abstract
From the university the social construction of gender perspective means to improve the conditions of access, permanency and relevancy in the vocational training. Objectives: a) To identify gender competences in basic, technical and transversal competences indicated in programme structure; b) To identify the gender language in basic, pre-professional and professional-Methodology: Exploratory study with critical reading of subjects executed in the period 2003-2004. Results: The pedagogic structure of the studied programme does not include gender perspective and, the language hidden the student and teacher women’s. Scanty competitions towards work colaborative, critical and reflexive thought, equity, and healthy labour and democratic relationships. Conclusion: The university, across the structure of the explicit curriculum, reinforces and reproduces cultural guidelines of traditional identity of gender.
