Design, validation, and exploratory and factorial analysis of the Cohesiona attitude scale for assessing the effectiveness of cooperative skills workshops
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article describes the stages followed to design, validate and run an exploratory and confirmatory factorial analysis of the COHESIONA scale which aims at assessing the impact of the cooperative abilities workshops. These are spaces in which sensitivity dynamics towards teamwork are carried out in order to show the importance of issues such as group cohesion or diversity. The sample used to validate the questionnaire was composed of 249 students of the Marketing Fundamentals subject at Universitat Jaume I (Spain). This tool has been subjected to different psychometric validation tests with the purpose of investigating its reliability and validity. Results show appropriate values for these tests. Additionally, the exploratory and confirmatory factorial analysis showed just one factor. The final questionnaire is composed of 24 items which are explained by that factor called “Sensitivity towards cooperative learning”.
