Conceptual positions on skills: a bibliometric analysis in the Cuban context

Abstract
The term ability is very controversial due to the multiplicity of its uses in various fields of knowledge. Pedagogy is one of the sciences in which it is most studied and applied. For various authors, its conceptualization has been the object of study on more than one occasion. Despite this, his analysis continues to be a subject with gaps open to study in this science. The objective of this article is to analyze the coinciding points of different pedagogical and psychological concepts of the term ability, from a bibliometric analysis carried out in various sources, for its objective assessment and didactic functionality. 30 sources of information are selected in which skills from Pedagogy and Psychology are studied. As results a deep bibliometric analysis is obtained applying eight indicators, which allows the evaluation of the term and greater effectiveness in its didactic and educational treatment.
