Abstract

The article details the process of curricular innovation undertaken by the Universidad Diego Portales Visual Arts major, highlighting the change from a traditional focus on authorial practice to a more inclusive approach encompassing diverse artistic practices. The new curriculum aims to integrate reflection, creation, and collaborative management, recognizing the complexities of contemporary art and its educational implications. It also explores the relationship between cultural changes and the demands of the educational system, emphasizing the role of the curriculum as a dynamic space to create and recreate meanings.
