Main Article Content
Abstract
The aim of this research was to analyze students’ expectations, perceptions, and needs regarding the course Theory of Physical Education 4 (TEF 4). A mixed-methods approach was used, including literature review and surveys of 95 students, complemented by discussion groups. Results indicate an increasing interest in contemporary topics such as diversity, gender, and the relationship between body and physical education. Preference is given to inperson modalities, though flexibility in scheduling and assessments is needed. Additionally, the balance between study and training time highlights the need for careful curriculum design. The research concludes that adapting the course to prior experiences, interests, and work situations of students is crucial for enhancing learning and engagement.
