Abstract

In the educational field, there is a need to strengthen socio-emotional skills in students and teachers. This will allow their integration into the practice and policies of the different educational levels, allowing for an improvement in teaching, learning, and the well-being of teachers, administrators, students, and everyone involved in an educational system.

For the professional development of teachers, training in socio-emotional skills is favorable. In this case, it focused on university teaching, using gamification as a teaching strategy, based on an intervention based on a workshop with a narrative related to the nine levels of Mictlán in a group of teachers, with a quantitative pre-experimental approach, a pre-test-post-test design in a group, which allows observing and describing the changes during gamified training in socio-emotional skills.
